SLEEMAN BEER CRATE FT. 5514

CHALLENGE

Sleeman’s Seasonal Selections packs are released every spring and fall, offering consumers a sampling of flavours from the brewery’s beer line up. Our task was to refresh the look of the packaging across all existing SKUs and introduce this season’s new limited release addition to the line up – a filtered wheat ale brewed in honour of our great country, using 100% Canadian Wheat.

SOLUTION

Rayment & Collins established new branding for the Seasonal Selections pack – including coming up with the pack’s new name, BEER CRATE – and the creative to go along with it. The packaging redesign spanned across the entire line extension of various bottle and can packs, with development into other pieces, such as keg collars and point-of-sale marketing collateral.

An exclusive offering in the Selections Pack, the brand new filtered wheat ale provided R&C with an opportunity to develop unique branding and original designs for primary packaging. Since Sleeman is releasing this brew in honour of Canada’s 150th birthday, we looked at our great nation for inspiration. One thing for sure. Our great country is big, really big. In fact, from Cape Spear, Newfoundland to the Yukon Border, Canada is 5,514km wide. That’s how we came up with the name, 5514, to commemorate Canada in its entirety, from the West Coast all the way to the East.
